Introduction: As a Human Resources consultant with twenty years of HR management experience, most recently as the HR Director of Schweizer Aircraft Corporation, I have had the opportunity to witness first hand the importance of paying attention to employee issues. By developing effective policies and procedures, a business increases its ability to staff itself with skilled employees through all levels of the organization. Just as importantly, implementation of effective HR programs and communication initiatives help ensure that these skilled employees are focused and all working together towards achievement of the business’s strategic and operational goals.
