See what the new lunar cycle has in store with a one-card tarot reading. Spell jars and tarot readings facilitated by artist and clairvoyant Shannah Warwick of BlckBts. Light refreshments and snacks provided by Happy Chicky Farm will also be available.

Join The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes, 79 W Market St in Corning, NY on Thursday, April 11, from 7-9pm for an Eclipse Ekphrastic Writing Workshop facilitated by Michael Czarnecki of Foothills Publishing. Ekphrastic poetry is a type of writing that attempts to describe a scene or piece of art in vivid detail. Using the Eclipse and artwork on display in The Eclipse Show as inspiration, participants can share their creations with the group at the end of the workshop.

The Eclipse Show, a juried exhibition presented by Johnson-Schmidt & Associates Architects, opens to the public on Monday, April 8, 2024. Join us on Friday, April 12, from 4-6pm, for an opening reception! Over thirty local and regional artists have created diverse bodies of work across mediums. Hot Glass Team manager and glassmaker featured on the Mobile Hot Shop in Episode 9 Eric Meek will dive into the work (and drama) of Blown Away. Stars Gemma Hollister, Ryan Thompson, and Morgan Peterson—with the Museum's Venetian glass expert and Episode 9 Evaluator, Bill Gudenrath—will be live in our Amphitheater Hot Shop to share what it is like to be part of this groundbreaking series and answer audience questions.

Discover the creative talents of more than 2,000 local students on display at this year's Annual Student Art Show at The Corning Museum of Glass. The Student Art Show includes the works of students from elementary, middle, and high schools in the Corning area. The artwork in the high school and middle school level is judged in 14 different media categories.

Entry to the Art Show is free. Museum admission is not required to attend.
