Arc of Steuben The Arc of Steuben was founded in 1964 by a group of parents advocating for the education of their children, each of whom had a disability. The Arc is a private not-for-profit organization that serves 1,500 children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Families can obtain a wide variety of support services ranging from community employment to in-home services. The Arc is people-focused, family-friendly, and community-oriented. The organization actively looks for opportunities to partner with the community and encourages their staff and those served to be positively involved in community life. Education is valued and encouraged at the Arc as a means for all people of all abilities to improve the quality of their lives. For more information, please visit www.arcofsteuben.org.
