DESCRIPTION:The Corning Museum of Glass is pleased to announce its 61st Annual Seminar on Glass\, a two-day program of online sessions that complements the special exhibition Dig Deeper: Discovering an Ancient Glass Workshop.\nThe Corning Museum of Glass has decided to postpone the 61st Annual Seminar on Glass scheduled for October 19 and 20\, out of respect for the devastating loss of life and continuing conflict in Israel and Gaza. As the primary focus of Seminar was to be the archaeological site of Jalame in modern Israel\, we do not feel it is appropriate to move forward in the face of so much loss and uncertainty. This decision was made with the advice and support of our international colleagues.  \n\nWe intend to reschedule the virtual conference for a later date. All those who have registered for the 61st Annual Seminar will receive email notice of the new date\, once it is finalized. Registrations will automatically be transferred.
