DESCRIPTION:Discover the extraordinarily creative talents of more than 2\,000 local students on display at this year's Annual Student Art Show at The Corning Museum of Glass. The Student Art Show includes the works of students from elementary\, middle and high schools in the Corning area. The artwork in the high school and middle school level is judged in 20 different media.\n\nStudent Art Show Scholarship\n\nEach year\, the Museum awards one local high school senior a scholarship to pursue their studies in art. The student\, who must have decided to major in art in college\, is chosen by their school based on their artwork and academic standing. The recipient is recognized at the opening of the Annual Student Art Show.\n\nFree and open to the public.\n\nOpening Reception is May 16\, 2018\, 5 to 8 pm in the Auditorium.
