DESCRIPTION:The Corning-Painted Post Historical Society will hold its annual meeting Tuesday\, May 16\, at 7:00pm in the auditorium of Academy Place Apartments (old CFA school)\, 11 W. Third St.\, Corning. The speaker will be Elise Johnson-Schmidt\, owner and principal Architect of Johnson-Schmidt & Associates\, Architects of Corning.  She will give a presentation on the rehabilitation of the CFA school building and its adaptive reuse as apartments\, as well as some of her other area projects. There will be a short business meeting\, followed by the presentation\, and light refreshments at the close of the meeting. The public is invited to attend.
