SUMMARY:Fundamentals of Continual Improvement for Healthcare\, Human Service and NPOs
DESCRIPTION:Is your organization seeking ways to improve efficiency?\n\nAre budget and staff constraints hindering your potential?\n\nWould you like to save both time and money by simply examining one or more of your organization's processes?\n\n\n\nIf so\, then attending this two-day complimentary workshop is a must!\n\n\n\nFundamentals of Continual Improvement:\n\nConverting Knowledge into Action for Improvement\n\n\n\nThe Institute for Human Services\, Inc. and the Steuben Rural Health Network have collaborated with the Health Foundation for Western and Central New York to offer the local nonprofit and public sector the opportunity to build quality improvement capacity and practical know-how\, with an emphasis on understanding what underlying factors exist within this process. With the leadership of international trainers and Improvement Advisors\, Jane Taylor EdD and Sue Butts Dion\, the use of problem-based and action learning will allow participants the chance to adapt the workshop curriculum to their specific\, individual organizational needs and work hands-on to design and implement a project in two days.\n\n\n\nStill questioning the value of continual improvement? Consider all of the various processes and procedures your organization completes on a daily basis. Within each of these processes\, time\, staff\, and monetary resources must be used. Even a process as simple as accepting an application can be made more efficient with process improvement--through restructuring and configuring the steps taken\, each staff member will be following an identical protocol for such a process and as a result\, will reduce the costs associated with each intake.\n\n\n\nNo matter what sector or field your organization operates in\, continual improvement is necessary for continual success! Whether you're organization works in the private or public sector\, this workshop will be beneficial to all! Not only will each organization benefit individually\, but greater participation will result in a long-lasting investment in the Southern Tier region.\n\n\n\nShow your commitment to your organization's success and support the local community--formulate a team and register today!\n\n\n\nFundamentals of Continual Improvement Workshop Information:\n\n Day 1: Thursday\, October 25th from 9 am - 4:30 pm\; Dinner Networking Event\n\n Day 2: Friday\, October 26th from 9 am - 3 pm\n\n Location: Hilton Garden Inn\, Horseheads\, NY\n\n Cost: Completely free!
