DESCRIPTION:Trillium Health is offering free community trainings in opioid overdose recognition\, prevention\, and reversal using naloxone.  Since 2014\, Trillium Health's Outreach Project has trained hundreds people in Opioid Overdose Prevention programs in upstate New York.\n\nUpon completion\, trained participants will be able to recognize the signs and symptoms of an opioid overdose\; administer naloxone properly\; and take necessary follow-up steps. Participants in the Trained Overdose Responder program will also receive a naloxone kit at no cost.\n\nThe training is free\, but we ask that you register using the form on our website\, so we can be sure there will be a kit for every attendee: https://www.ssclibrary.org/activities/narcan-training/
