DESCRIPTION:Poets In Play\n\nFeatured Reading by Ahmed Toslim\n\nTuesday\, September 12\, 7-9pm\n\nThe ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes welcomes you to the 2023-24 season of Poets in Play. Our first reading featuring Ahmed Toslim of the season will be held on Tuesday\, September 12\, from 7-9pm.\n\nThis reading will be held in person at the Kaleidoscope Society at 44 Bridge St. in Corning while The ARTS Council office and gallery undergo renovations. The ARTS Council will provide light refreshments and coffee. We will be streaming this event through Zoom for anyone who prefers to attend virtually. He writes on the topics of philosophy\, epistemology\, devotion\, and poetic expression. He is a published author\, lyricist\, and music producer. As a reciter\, Ahmed has performed in Rochester\, Syracuse\, Binghamton\, Buffalo in New York\, and Dhaka\, Narayanganj\, and Chittagong in Bangladesh. Ahmed grew up on the bank of the river Shitalakshya in Bangladesh to which his soul is deeply connected.
