Her poetry has appeared in Pittsburgh Quarterly\, Harpur Palate\, Narrative\, Prairie Schooner\, The Crab Orchard Review\, and Tupelo Quarterly\, among others\, and she has published essays in the North American Review\, the Southeast Review\, and StoryQuarterly. Her writing about art\, pop culture\, and books has appeared in Kenyon Review\, Paper\, The Art Newspaper and the Washington Post. She has facilitated community workshops at the Saint Louis Poetry Center\, Driftless Region Literary Center\, Poets in the Woods\, and Jackson Hole Writers.
