With a gentle flow and relaxed pace\, this 6-mile tour is well suited for larger groups.\n\n\n\nWe meet at the DEC boat launch in Apalachin. Your tour starts with a safety orientation and a kayaking lesson from our experienced guides. As we travel downstream\, a sweeping turn in the river leads us into a wide valley\, where many species of birds frequent the shallow waters. We'll pass historic Hiawatha Island\, the largest island in the Susquehanna within New York State. You'll have a chance to cool off in the water before we reach our destination at Hickories Park.\n\n\n\nPark your vehicle at the DEC boat launch in Apalachin at least 10-minutes before your tour is scheduled to start.\n\n\n\nWe'll provide a shuttle bus ride back to your vehicle at the end of the tour.
