Students from middle school to college are invited to spend an evening with friends thinking about connections between schoolwork, college, and careers. Learn how the Museum’s teen programs can help teens find the right track. Why does glass break? How do scientists figure out how to make unbreakable glass? Dr. Tim Gross, a research scientist for Corning Incorporated, will answer these questions and explain how he uses an engineering approach to find the answers in the lab. Gross will also talk about the educational path to take to become a research scientist. Enjoy hands-on demonstrations of Gorilla Glass during the presentation.
