New York is the second largest apple-producing region in the United States. The cideries in this state are doing amazing things with apples, drawing international attention and acclaim in recent years. Pair this with the Museum's talented glass makers, and you have planted the seeds for a fantastic collaboration to create the perfect glass for enjoying hard cider.
Join us for a special evening as we unveil the ciders and their custom-made glasses. Learn about the history of apples and cider in the region from Maria Kennedy of The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes, and hear local cider-makers and the Museum's glass artists talk about their collaboration in a panel discussion.
