Employment & Labor Update
DID YOU KNOW THAT THE PROPOSED REGULATION
IS SET TO GO INTO EFFECT ON JANUARY 1, 2018?
Starting in January 2018, Paid Family Leave (PFL) - one of the most comprehensive family leave programs in the nation - will take effect in New York.
Is your business prepared? Are YOU prepared?
Starting in 2018, this regulation will require virtually all private employers in New York to provide paid family leave benefits to eligible employees. Any employee of an organization with at least one employee will be eligible for paid time off to care for a new child, sick family member, or qualifying military family member while providing job security.
Many details remain to be decided.
