Location: 1886 Reserve RoomAvailable Saturdays at 2 PM, and Sundays at 2 PM.
A behind-the-scenes look of our rich history of sparkling winemaking. The tour will begin with an explanation of our estate vineyards focusing on the classic Champagne grapes Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier. The tour continues underground to our historic cellar built in 1886. Here you will learn the process of méthode Champenoise including bottling, aging, and disgorgment while tasting through several examples of our sparkling wines. At the conclusion of the tour, a seated flight of wines are paired with the chef’s seasonal bites where you taste our remaining sparkling wines and still wines produced by Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
Please arrive at our 1886 Reserve Tasting Room at least 5 minutes before the starting time of the event. Just south of the main winery and tasting rooms is the stone house named Chateau Frank. Once you pull into the driveway and park, walk towards the rear of the building and you will see stairs leading up to the 1886 Reserve Room.
