Bring the Heat | Jason Hitchcock Live Streamed Demonstration
For this demo, watch flameworker Jason Hitchcock create a sea-themed sculpture consisting of an interplay of seaweed and seahorses. Through the process he will demonstrate color preparations and bridging techniques for building compositional sculpture while using a mini hand torch. This piece will later be mounted on a driftwood base, giving the piece an organic feel.
In our live demo series, Bring the Heat, join us for a live stream of glass artists demonstrating their expertise and skillful execution while “in the zone.”
During each demo, an artist will present a personal design they’ve worked to perfect, and they will be live on the mic to narrate as they work—a rarity for live artist demonstrations and a first at the Museum.
