Community Documentation Workshop Screening
The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes invites you to our Community Documentation Workshop Screening on Thursday, October 8, beginning at 6pm at the Palace Theatre, 17 West Market St., Corning, NY 14830.
This screening is free and open to the public. Complimentary light refreshments and snacks will be available, as well as standard theatre fare from the concession counter for purchase.Q&A with the creators will happen following the video screening.
About the Community Documentation Workshop:
This screening features three short documentaries made by local community organizations. The Community Documentation Workshop (CDW) equips grassroots organizations in our region with the skills and perspectives to document and present their own cultural traditions in ways that center their voices and perspectives.This year’s videos are presented in partnership with the Stanley "Sully" Huff Heritage Center, Turquoise Mediterranean Cuisine (https://www.facebook.com/turquoise.sweets/), and the Chinese Cultural Association of the Southern Tier.
