Join The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes (The ARTS Council) for a workshop on demystifying the grant process on Tuesday, October 13, from 6-7:30pm at the Elmira Economic Opportunity Program (EOP) at 650 Baldwin St. in Elmira, NY.

The workshop will be held in the Board room at EOP. Someone will be at the front door to point you in the right direction.

Grants provide essential support for artists and community organizations. But too often, applying for a grant can be

intimidating and bureaucratic.

In this workshop, join The ARTS Council’s Director of Public Programs, Casey Winston, and Grants Manager, Nate Weisenberg, to learn more about strategies for grant writing success.

We will discuss:

· How to write a grant application if it’s your first time

· Strategies to help your application stand out

· Examples of what to do and what to avoid

· How to put together a budget

· And more!

Bring your questions and something to write with. We want to give you money and we'll help you get there!

EOP will provide snacks for us made at their Bistro!
