Families Explore: Music
Add some rhythm to your family’s Sunday afternoon. Discover glass instruments in the collection at The Corning Museum of Glass. Enjoy live performances by local musicians, including The East High Kazoo Band and the Crystal City Flute Choir. Listen as musician John Snyder plays the theremin, water phone, didgeridoo and crystal singing bowls. See and hear a glass didgeridoo made by a Museum glassmaker. Use beads, bells and other materials to make your own wind chimes and other instruments. Included in Museum admission; registration not required; drop-in activities, 12:00–4:00 p.m. Contact familiesexplore@cmog.org or call (607) 937-5371 for more information.
