Families Explore: Science

Learn how to extract DNA from a strawberry with representatives from the Wings of Eagles at this fun, hands-on event. Watch a live demo by the Chemung County Stormwater Coalition and learn about the Science of Slime with the Society of Women Engineers. Make a periscope and spectroscope (rainbow-scope), learn about careers in science, and much more. 12:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m. Included in Museum admission. Adult admission is $15.00 and $6 for local residents; kids and teens, 19 and under, free. Registration not required. Drop-in activities throughout the day.
