February 2300°: Fire and Ice
What a lovely way to spend a February evening! Enjoy great music, glassmaking, and ice at February's 2300°.
At 2300° Fahrenheit, hot glass gets interesting—and so do things at The Corning Museum of Glass. Enjoy glassmaking demonstrations, live music, and great food and drink. Free and open to the public. Free shuttle bus service from the Museum’s I-86 parking lot is available.
Live glassmaking
Get ready to warm things up in a major way. Live glassmaking is always a key element of any 2300°. In February, watch artist Jason Christian, assisted by members of the Hot Glass Team, create dragon-inspired glass in the Amphitheater Hot Shop. Can't make it to 2300°? Catch the live stream and watch Christian create a new work live from your computer. Watch on cmog.org or The Corning Museum of Glass Facebook page when the event is live.
Live music
What would a 2300° be without rockin' music? Head into the auditorium to dance, boogie, and sing the night away with Trilogy. This five-piece band from Maryland will keep you on your feet with your favorite songs from the '70s to today.
