    Event Description:

Learn about affordable solar energy options in the
Southern Tier and how to make the switch.

Ever thought about using the sun's rays to power your house or business?
Want to save money on future electricity bills or stop having to worry about rising utility costs?
Concerned about the environment and want to reduce your emissions?

Then solar energy could be right for you!
Join us for a solar workshop covering a brief introduction to solar, the campaign that's offering discounted pricing on solar arrays, and a chance to meet and ask questions to three local installers to see if solar is right for you.

Going Solar! is a community outreach and educational program focused on helping residents and small businesses change from fossil fuels to renewable energy.  The program is a partnership of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins and Steuben Counties, NYSERDA - New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, and RenewableNY.
