In Sparkling Company Hot Glass Live Stream | Eric Meek and Eric Goldschmidt
Watch as the Hot Glass Demo Team and Assistant Curator Linnea Seidling explore many ways in which beads can be made, and how they were used in trade and commerce in the 1800s.
Alongside Seidling’s curatorial perspective, the glassmakers will be working glass at the furnace, on the flameworking torch, and coldworking to create a variety of bead designs.
Join us for our summer live stream demo series highlighting objects and themes from our new exhibition, In Sparkling Company: Glass and the Costs of Social Life in Britain During the 1700s.
In context of this exhibition, curators from The Corning Museum of Glass present historical perspectives on the glassmakers’ creations.
