LITTLE GATHER: TAIKOZA
Free and open to the public.
Introduce little ones to the Museum through this popular free summer program.
Roughly translated, taiko means big drums, and that’s exactly what Taikoza brings. They create a highly visual performance drawing from Japan’s rich music and performance traditions, using a variety of traditional instruments and the powerful rhythms of the taiko drums.
Use the Collection Connection handout at the show to explore the galleries and find glass related to the performance.
The Southeast Steuben County Library will be at every show with theme-related books and an activity.
