Reframing: Transforming Problems into Opportunities
Reframing: “Transforming Problems Into Opportunities”
Do you see the glass as half empty instead of half full?
Would you benefit from understanding and dealing with problems in a more positive, flexible and productive way?
Do unresolved problems get you frustrated, upset, angry or depressed?
Do you find thatthe more you try to fix them the worse they get?Problems are a part of everyday life and whether it is a rebellious teenager, financial struggles, an unreliable computer network or colleagues at work driving you nuts, effectively dealing with problems is often the crucial element in living a happy and successful life.
In this Educational Program, you will learn how to look at or “frame” problems in ways that provide options, flexibility and most importantly, solutions!
The “meaning” you attach to a problem creates a response. Change the meaning and you get a different response. Yes! It’s that simple. With a little practice and by using specialized tools provided at the workshop, you’ll be looking at problems as important challenges and opportunities instead of doom and gloom scenarios.
In this workshop you will learn:
· How to identify and change negative thinking patterns
· How to step out of problems and view them in a more logical way (In other words, how to see the forest from the trees)
· What Contextual and Content Reframes are and how to use them to expand your thinking
· The importance of humor and how to use it to get unstuck and open minded
· The do’s and don’t of trying to reframe other peoples’ problems
· How to turn lemons into lemonade
· And more!Reframing: Transforming Problems into...Date and Time
