View Personal BioMorgan JolleyDr. Morgan Jolley is the Founder and Artistic & Executive Director of Vocal Essence of the Southern Tier (VEST), a nonprofit vocal arts organization in the Corning–Elmira region. A choral conductor, music educator, and scholar with nearly two decades of experience in K–12, higher education, and community ensembles, she moved from Florida to New York in 2020 to teach as Assistant Professor of Choral Music Education at Ithaca College and soon made the Southern Tier her home. While the region has a strong tradition of supporting the arts, she was struck by the limited opportunities for children and youth to participate in ensemble singing. In response, she launched VEST to remove barriers so every voice—children, youth, and adults—can experience the growth, connection, and wellness of ensemble singing. VEST blends artistic excellence with a vision of community transformation grounded in equity, wellness, and lifelong singing.Tell a Friend
